LIVERPOOL fan favorite Divock Origi has transitioned from the pitch to academia, enrolling at Harvard University just five months post-retirement.
The 31-year-old former Reds striker is now pursuing studies at the esteemed Harvard Business School in the U.S. after concluding his playing career in June.
Origi has enrolled in Harvard’s Crossover Into Business program, designed to empower professional athletes with essential business skills and ease their transition from sports.
This semester-long curriculum connects participants with two MBA student mentors while honing practical business abilities without requiring a full degree.
The Belgian player has grand aspirations beyond football, particularly in the fashion sector. He is also in the process of launching a football agency called DLF Sports with his business associate Marvin Willem Ofori.
Origi previously expressed his enthusiasm for his new path, stating: “I’m wholeheartedly dedicated to immersing myself in fashion as a craft.”
