Old Trafford reaction to one player says it all about current Man United situation despite huge comeback

The Manchester United rollercoaster continued against Aston Villa, as the Red Devils found themselves 4-2 down before rescuing a draw an unlikely.

The Old Trafford faithful were subject to another match of inconsistent performances, making not one but two comebacks.

However, one player in particular was singled out for particular derision by the Manchester United fans.

Manchester United fans brutally jeer one of their own players.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick must have struggled to believe what he was seeing early on, with his team going 1-0 after one minute, before conceding again a few minutes later.

Alysson scored the first and Nicholas Jackson grabbed the second, but United managed to respond barely ten minutes later.

A penalty was then converted by Bruno Fernandes, the crowd stirred by what they seeing after a long run of dreadful results.

Youri Tielemans then managed to equalise just before halftime, giving them a sniff of the win.

However, not for the first time this season, United collapsed just when they needed to show some fortitude.

In miserable scenes, Carrick was pictured with his head in his hands, as first a calamitous own goal gifted Villa a third, before Goretzka made it four.

It wasn't over then though. Summoning the old days of 'Fergie Time', Zirkzee scored after 92min, before Dorgu added a sensational equaliser on 96min, heading home an equaliser.

Old Trafford was sent into raptures, but the result still leaves them 18th and in the relegation zone.

Diogo Dalot jeered as he comes off.

Earlier on though, the crowd had left one player in doubt about what they thought about him.

Diogo Dalot, a player who has long come in for criticism from fans, was heavily jeered when his number was called out for a substitution.

It's the latest embarrassment for a player who has largely failed to impress at Manchester United in his time there.
