Holweni was unveiled by the Danish club a week ago, reuniting with her former UWC teammate Bongeka Gamede.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Mbuli says she hopes the move will remind Holweni of her quality and ability on the pitch.
"Holweni has been through a lot. I'm very happy for her and I'm proud of her because a lot of people forgot just how good Holweni actually is, even herself. We had to push her everyday and remind her everyday of how good she is, but every time something big was about to happen for her there would be an injury so I'm just super excited for her."
With Holweni joining her former UWC teammate Gamede, Mbuli believes their existing relationship will help the striker adapt more easily to her new environment. The coach also hopes the duo will help shine a spotlight on South African players in Denmark.
"Bongeka Gamede is in the starting 11 week in and week out, and therefor the club assumes that there are more players like Bongeka from South Africa, that is why she has been a great ambassador for us. Holweni did play her part but Bongeka helped to open the door."
Mbuli says she is proud that Holweni has finally secured a professional contract after several deals failed to materialise. She believes the move could also benefit Banyana Banyana in the near future.
