Nigerian forwards Gift Orban and Yira Sor both scored for Amedspor, but their efforts were not enough to prevent a 4-3 loss to Galatasaray at RAMS Park on Saturday night.
Amedspor put up a strong attacking showing against Galatasaray, with Nigerian pair Orban and Sor contributing to all three of the visitors’ goalscorers’ output in the narrow defeat.
Orban found the net in the 65th minute to register Amedspor’s second strike of the evening. The goal added to an impressive league return for the attacker, who has now recorded 10 goals alongside four assists in 14 appearances this term.
Sor later scored Amedspor’s third goal in the contest. It was the Nigerian player’s second goal of the season for the smaller club.
Galatasaray had to play without Victor Osimhen, as the Nigerian international striker missed the match through injury.
