Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Efmamjjasond González continued his impressive run in front of goal, playing a key role in helping Chinese League One side Nantong Zhiyun secure another important victory on Saturday.

The Colombian forward has been enjoying a productive spell since continuing his football career in China, where his consistent performances and attacking contributions have made him an important figure in Nantong Zhiyun’s campaign.

González, who previously had a stint with South African football giants Kaizer Chiefs, appears to have rediscovered his best scoring form, demonstrating his quality and ability to make a difference in the final third. His recent performances have attracted attention, particularly among supporters who followed his time in the South African Premiership.

Saturday’s victory further underlined Nantong Zhiyun’s determination to maintain momentum as they continue their campaign in the Chinese League One competition. The club will be hoping to build on the positive result and maintain consistency in their remaining fixtures.

For González, the latest performance represents another encouraging step in what has been an impressive scoring run. The striker will be eager to continue delivering goals and strong performances as he looks to establish himself as one of the standout attacking players in the competition.

His continued success in China also serves as a reminder of the attacking qualities he possesses, following his previous experience in South African football.
