Rhulani Mokwena has enjoyed a remarkable start to life at Pyramids FC, winning his first 11 matches in charge and establishing an impressive 100 per cent winning record. The South African tactician has quickly made his mark in Egyptian football, guiding his team to the top of the Egyptian Premier League with a five-point advantage over their closest challengers.

Pyramids FC continued their outstanding run with a convincing 4–1 victory over El Geish away from home. The result extended Mokwena's winning streak and further demonstrated the progress the team has made under his leadership. His players have consistently delivered positive results, combining attacking effectiveness with the discipline required to maintain their position at the summit.

Winning 11 consecutive matches from the beginning of his tenure represents a significant achievement for the coach, particularly in a competitive league where maintaining consistency can be difficult. The team's growing confidence has been reflected in its performances, with Pyramids increasingly demonstrating the ability to control matches and convert opportunities into victories.

The five-point lead also gives the Egyptian side a stronger position in the domestic title race. However, maintaining that advantage will require continued concentration, especially as competing clubs attempt to close the gap during the coming fixtures.

Despite the impressive domestic form, Mokwena and his players must quickly turn their attention towards continental competition. Pyramids are preparing for the second leg of their CAF Champions League encounter against El Merreikh Bentiu, scheduled for Saturday. They enter the decisive fixture holding a narrow 1–0 aggregate advantage, leaving them needing another disciplined performance to secure progression.

Reaching the group stage would represent an important step towards the club's ambitions in Africa's premier club competition. Qualification would also provide Pyramids with an opportunity to test themselves against some of the continent's strongest teams while pursuing further success under their new coach.

For Mokwena, the opening run of victories has strengthened his reputation as a coach capable of making an immediate impact. His ability to establish winning habits within a short period has raised expectations among supporters and increased interest in what the team could accomplish this season.

Nevertheless, the coach will understand that early success must be supported by sustained performances throughout the campaign. The challenge now is to maintain the team's momentum while managing the demands of domestic and continental football.

With 11 consecutive victories already secured, Pyramids FC have made a powerful statement under Mokwena. Their next challenge will be to translate this impressive beginning into meaningful silverware and establish themselves as genuine contenders for major honours in Egypt and Africa.
