Orlando Pirates' Next Five Betway Premiership Fixtures Revealed

The next five league matches will put Orlando Pirates to the test, determining how consistent they are and if they can capture key points in their Betway Premiership campaign. Before embarking on a stretch of four straight away games, the Buccaneers will face off in the much-anticipated Soweto Derby with Kaizer Chiefs.

The Pirates have a chance to solidify their place in the league rankings with 15 points available from these five matches. Nevertheless, the squad must maintain concentration and consistently outperform other opponents due to the tough schedule.

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the inaugural game will be played versus Kaizer Chiefs. When the Soweto Derby takes place at 15:00 and is televised on SuperSport PSL, the Pirates will have the benefit of playing at home. Because of the intense rivalry between the two Soweto giants, fans of both teams are likely to pay close attention to the match.

With little to no influence from league rankings or form, the outcome of a derby match is often up in the air. As a result, in order to get the most out of the match against their opponents, the pirates will need to bring their A-game.

After the derby, on November 4th, the Buccaneers will play a road match against Siwelele. Starting at 19:30, this encounter will kick off a run of four straight league away games.

Kickoff for the Pirates' match against Lamontville Golden Arrows is scheduled for 18:00 on Saturday, November 28. On Saturday, December 5, at 15:00, there will be another away match against Stellenbosch FC.

Richards Bay FC will be the opponent for the squad's sixth match in this phase on Wednesday, December 16. The current series of league matches will conclude with this match, which is set to begin at 15:00.

The Pirates will have to adjust to new venues while keeping up their competitive level if they play four games in a row away from home. Travelling to play an away game may be challenging, especially if your opponent is intent on playing to their home crowd's advantage.

Careful management of the roster by the technical staff is required to keep players healthy and prepared for every match. The Buccaneers' point total may change drastically if they were more consistent, defensively organised, and finished stronger.

With the Soweto Derby taking center stage, the next games provide a plethora of reasons for excitement for Pirates fans.

In their next five Betway Premiership matches, Orlando Pirates have the opportunity to earn 15 points. How many points do you believe they will manage to collect? Does the Buccaneers' rigorous away schedule make it harder for them to capture most of the available points?
