6 South African brothers who played in PSL league

Having a brother join you in a particular fraternity or profession is a gift that is actually a blessing disguised as a boon. A family at PSL was obviously quite thrilled when they received bread from two different strangers. It is a widespread assumption that only one family member can become famous or successful, so it was a huge shock when both of the brothers found success in the major leagues.

Additionally, it serves as a reminder to everyone that hard work pays off. The ultimate grade you receive will take into account your contributions. Many of the PSL players have brothers who have played for more prestigious and well-known teams in the past, including the Kaiser Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sunsets, and others. If you pay close attention, you'll notice this.

The twins clearly possess the necessary abilities to play for a more prestigious PSL club. It is unusual but not unheard of for athletic siblings to participate in the same sport. Check out the list of PSL relatives below:

1. Siyabonga Sangweni and Thamsanqa

The Sangweni brothers played professional football for a very long time in South Africa, where they won numerous Premier Soccer League championships. Thamsanqa Sangweni signed a contract with AmaZulu FC in 2009, and he started competing in the Premier Soccer League. He has since played for more well-known teams including Maritzburg United, Mamelodi Sunset, and Orlando Pirates, among others. Siyabonga Sangweni, also known as "Nsimbi," is a player in the Premier Soccer League with the Golden Arrows. He played football with the Orlando Pirates from 2011 to 2016, and he also contributed four goals for Bafana Bafana.

2.Lucky Khune and Itumeleng

On this list, there are two brothers by the name of Khune. Beginning with the well-known Khune, he has been performing with Kaiser Chiefs with considerable success since 2004.

In addition, he performs goaltender duties for the national team. Lucky Khune gained notoriety in 2009 when he scored for the Kaiser Chiefs in a game against the Orlando Pirates.

3. Joseph and Richard Henyekane

They are brothers,Who among us could forget these incredibly intelligent twins? Richard joined Hellenic in 2003, and the following year, Arrows purchased him. There, he led his squad with an astounding 24 goals. He signed for Mamelodi Sundowns in 2010 and played for the Free State Stars two years later, in 2014. The Bidvest Wits, the Golden Arrows, and the Black Aces are the three teams that Joseph is now a part of. He participated in all three of these squads in 2006.

Tragically, injuries received in separate vehicle accidents resulted in the deaths of Richard and Joseph Henjeken in 2014 and 2015, four months apart. May the Lord grant their spirits eternal rest. The heroes departed South Africa by boarding a plane.

4. Lorenzo Gordinho, the brother of Anthony Gordinho

From 2013 to 2020, Lorenzo Gordinho scored 7 goals while playing for Kaiser Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League (PSL). He was previously a player for Bloemfontein Celtic before joining Bidvest Wits. Anthony claims that he is driven by a great desire to catch up to the rest of his siblings. He started out with Ajax Cape Town in the Premier Soccer League in 2014, then in 2016 Supersport became very interested in him and signed him. He also participated for the Wits.

Despite interest from other teams, Blaise decided to sign with Ajax Cape Town in 2005. He has also played for a number of other teams, including the Golden Arrows, Supersport, Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits, and Maritzburg United.

He thoroughly enjoyed his stint in the PSL. Ryan originally joined Maritzburg United in 2016 and has been playing ever since. He then went on to play for Chiefs before switching to Stellenbosch.

These two brothers played for the national soccer team of the Congo. In 2002, Kabamba Musasa relocated to South Africa to join Kaiser Chiefs.
