Celtic hero takes aim at McInnes over title 'injustice' claim

The now Rangers boss made the comments as he looked back on his year at Tynecastle as he previewed his return there last night, the sides drawing 2-2.

He admitted he felt a guilt over leaving Hearts while they were still in mourning over losing out on the fina day title shootout, and talked about the injustice of it all after taking issue with refereeing decisions in the final weeks of the campaign.

That made McGeady smile as he accused McInnes of 'glossing over' his and his side's failure to get the job done from a leading position.

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, he said: "The injustice has been mentioned a few times. What was the injustice? Was it a few contentious decisions, as he said?

"But at the end of the day, it was in your hands and you blew it. It was in your hands and you blew it. All you had to do was draw the last game of the season. Couldn't do it.

"So I can understand why you're going to put it down to, 'It's not my fault, it's not the team's fault, it's referees.'

"But, yeah, for me, that's you glossing over that."
