NFL Week 7 power rankings see Cardinals, Titans, Browns, Texans send shockwaves through NFL with NFL Week 6 wins over Rams, Colts, Ravens, Jaguars.
Every now and then the NFL has a game result that sends shockwaves through the league.
Week 6 of the NFL season had several.
The Arizona Cardinals' 18-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams shocked the NFL, as did the Tennessee Titans' 26-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns' 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Arizona had been a double-digit underdog against Los Angeles, while Tennessee had been a touchdown underdog against Indianapolis. Cleveland had been a 4.5-point underdog against Baltimore.
How did those upsets shake up our NFL power rankings after NFL Week 6? Check out how we rank each NFL team in NFL Week 7 power rankings now, with previous ranking in parentheses.
These Week 7 NFL power rankings will be updated after the Monday Night Football game between the Washington Commanders and San Francisco 49ers tonight.
The Chargers are now 0-6 and have the Rams, Texans and Ravens after their bye week. When are the Chargers going to win their first game? It might be a while. This is the worst team in the NFL right now.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Kansas City Chiefs, 22-6 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Off
When will the Dolphins (0-5) win their first game? The Jets might be their best chance in a while to end their season-opening skid.
NFL Week 6: Off
NFL Week 7: At New York Jets (Oct. 25)
Tennessee's defense helped fuel the team's first win of the season after starting the season 0-5. Tennessee trailed 13-0 against the Colts at the half and scored 20 points in the fourth quarter. That deserves a bump in the rankings.
NFL Week 6: Beat Indianapolis Colts, 26-20 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Cleveland Browns (Oct. 25)
The Buccaneers fell to 1-5 with the loss to the Steelers, blowing a 16-3 lead on the Steelers. Tampa Bay is 0-4 at home. Ouch.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime, 26-19 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Carolina Panthers (Oct. 25)
Jayden Daniels and the Commanders (1-3-1) desperately need a win in NFL Week 6 on Monday Night Football to make up some ground in the NFC East.
NFL Week 6: At San Francisco 49ers (Oct. 19)
NFL Week 7: Off
No Jalen Hurts, no chance? Tanner McKee went 26-for-45 for 215 yards in the loss to Carolina. The Eagles (2-4) rushed the ball 13 times for 35 yards. Yikes.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Carolina Panthers, 25-14 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Dallas Cowboys (Oct. 26)
The Colts (2-4) lost a fumble and threw two interceptions in the loss to the Titans. That's not a recipe for success in the NFL, especially when your opponent only has one turnover.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Tennessee Titans, 26-20 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Minnesota Vikings (Oct. 25)
Geno Smith and the Jets fell to 2-4 with the loss to the Patriots. New York had just 97 rushing yards on 27 carries.
NFL Week 6: Lost to New England Patriots, 26-19 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Miami Dolphins (Oct. 25)
The Saints (2-4) were outgained in this game, 461-319, but forced four turnovers in the win. Thirty-eight carries for 175 yards rushing certainly helped the cause against the Giants.
NFL Week 6: Beat New York Giants, 34-27 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 25 in Saint-Denis, France)
The Cowboys have dropped two straight to fall to 2-4. The defense can't stop anyone, and the offense isn't scoring enough to win. Not a good recipe.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Green Bay Packers, 23-13 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Philadelphia Eagles (Oct. 26)
The Rams' (2-4) last three losses have been by a combined nine points. The schedule gets easier for Matthew Stafford and company, but we thought that before the loss to the Cardinals.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Arizona Cardinals, 18-16 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Las Vegas Raiders (Oct. 25)
The Cardinals are now 2-4, which is the same record as the Los Angeles Rams, whom they beat in NFL Week 6. Arizona has more wins (2) at SoFi Stadium this season than the Rams and Chargers combined (1). Wow. Is this too big of a jump for Arizona? We had to rank the Cardinals ahead of the Rams after their Week 6 win.
NFL Week 6: Beat Los Angeles Rams, 18-16 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Denver Broncos (Oct. 25)
Do the Falcons (2-4) have a home field disadvantage? They are 0-3 at home this season and 2-1 on the road. We're not ready to count Bijan Robinson and company out in the NFC South.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Chicago Bears, 31-23 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: San Francisco 49ers (Oct. 25)
The Texans have won two straight since starting the season 0-4. Can they keep winning? C.J. Stroud and Houston have a favorable schedule with the Giants, Chargers and Browns up next.
NFL Week 6: Beat Jacksonville Jaguars, 34-31 (Oct. 18 in London)
NFL Week 7: New York Giants (Oct. 25)
After starting the season 3-0, Kirk Cousins and the Raiders have lost three straight games. Still, this team doesn't quit. The game against the Rams might be must-see TV.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Buffalo Bills, 33-30 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Los Angeles Rams (Oct. 25)
The Giants (3-2-1) made a switch at QB in this game amid Jameis Winston's struggles (14-for-26 for 152 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions), turning to J.J. McCarthy. Will they stick with McCarthy moving forward? Should they?
NFL Week 6: Lost to New Orleans Saints, 34-27 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Houston Texans (Oct. 25)
What a difference it makes having Caleb Williams at QB for Chicago (4-2). The Bears QB went 30-for-36 for 305 yards and a touchdown in his return.
NFL Week 6: Beat Atlanta Falcons, 31-23 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: New England Patriots (Oct. 22)
The Browns are an impressive 3-0 at home and 4-2 overall. Deshaun Watson and Cleveland outscored the Ravens in the second half, 13-0. Could this team actually challenge for the AFC North title?
NFL Week 6: Beat Baltimore Ravens, 13-10 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Tennessee Titans (Oct. 25)
The bye probably came at the perfect time for the Bengals (3-2), who are rested heading into a matchup with a beat-up Ravens squad in NFL Week 7.
NFL Week 6: Off
NFL Week 7: At Baltimore Ravens (Oct. 25)
Will the Lions (3-2) be able to compete in the NFC North? We'll find out shortly with games against the Packers and Vikings up next.
NFL Week 6: Off
NFL Week 7: Green Bay Packers (Oct. 25)
The Panthers now lead the NFC South at 3-2 after winning their second straight. Chuba Hubbard had 28 carries for 120 yards in the win over the Eagles for Carolina. That will do.
NFL Week 6: Beat Philadelphia Eagles, 25-14 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Oct. 25)
Sam Darnold and the Seahawks are now just 3-3 on the season. The defending Super Bowl champions miss Kenneth Walker III, but we're not writing their repeat chances off yet.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Denver Broncos, 17-14 (Oct. 15)
NFL Week 7: Kansas City Chiefs (Oct. 25)
The Broncos have been outscored 125-114 this season, but are 4-2 overall. Bo Nix and company are 3-0 at home, with wins over the Jaguars, Rams and Seahawks.
NFL Week 6: Beat Seattle Seahawks, 17-14 (Oct. 15)
NFL Week 7: At Arizona Cardinals (Oct. 25)
A win is a win in the NFL, but the Steelers' win over the Buccaneers was ugly. Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh outscored Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter and overtime, 23-3 to move to 4-2 on the season.
NFL Week 6: Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime, 26-19 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: New Orleans Saints (Oct. 25 in Saint-Denis, France)
Evidently, the Ravens (4-2) really do need Lamar Jackson back at QB. They managed just 235 yards of offense without him in the loss to the Browns.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Cleveland Browns, 13-10 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Cincinnati Bengals (Oct. 25)
Jacksonville's defense apparently didn't travel to London. The Jaguars (4-2) hadn't given up more than 17 points per game before the loss to Houston. The bye is at the perfect time for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars.
NFL Week 6: Lost to Houston Texans, 34-31 (Oct. 18 in London)
NFL Week 7: Off
Make that three wins in a row for the Packers, which sets up a pivotal showdown against the Lions in the NFC North. Green Bay could get Josh Jacobs back for that game.
NFL Week 6: Beat Dallas Cowboys, 23-13 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Detroit Lions (Oct. 25)
That is also three straight wins for Drake Maye and the Patriots, who have rebounded quite nicely from a 1-2 start to improve to 4-2 on the season. The AFC East race is heating up.
NFL Week 6: Beat New York Jets, 26-19 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Chicago Bears (Oct. 22)
Josh Allen and the Bills appear to be among the teams to beat in the AFC. Up next after the bye? The Baltimore Ravens and the Minnesota Vikings. Get your popcorn ready for those games.
NFL Week 6: Beat Las Vegas Raiders, 33-30 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: Off
The Vikings' schedule gets more difficult with the Lions, Bills, Packers and 49ers up after the Colts in Week 7. How long can Minnesota (5-0) stay unbeaten? With their defense, perhaps a while.
NFL Week 6: Off
NFL Week 7: Indianapolis Colts (Oct. 25)
Kansas City (5-0) is sitting pretty atop the AFC West, but the Chiefs have back-to-back tests on the road at the Seahawks (Oct. 25) and Broncos (Nov. 1). Are the Chiefs the team to beat in the AFC?
NFL Week 6: Beat Los Angeles Chargers, 22-6 (Oct. 18)
NFL Week 7: At Seattle Seahawks (Oct. 25)
A win over the Commanders on Monday Night Football would move San Francisco to 6-0 and cement their spot at No. 1 in these NFL power rankings for another week. When will Brock Purdy and the 49ers lose their first game?
NFL Week 6: Washington Commanders (Oct. 19)
NFL Week 7: At Atlanta Falcons (Oct. 25)
