EFL pundit Sam Parkin has backed John Eustace to guide Derby County through their current storm and says they will have been frustrated not to have claimed greater reward at Sheffield United.
Derby were held to a 1-1 draw by United at Bramall Lane where they had taken the lead through Bobby Clark only for Dion Sanderson's red card in the second half to change the course of the game.
Patrick Bamford's equaliser ensured the Blades claimed a point and they were prevented from claiming all three due to two outstanding saves from Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in stoppage time.
The draw kept Derby in the bottom three of the Championship with only one so far this season but Parkin believes Eustace will get them going.
"They'll be bitterly disappointed with only leaving with a point although having said that, it looked like (goalkeeper Jacob Widell) Zetterstrom performed absolute heroics to maintain the point there at Bramall Lane," he told the BBC.
"It was a really big game for both clubs because they've had indifferent starts to the season.
"For Derby, they've had problems with injuries. Obviously there was there was hope of a takeover in the summer that hasn't materialised. They're working with a squad that maybe is not as strong in every department but hopefully the club can use that point as a positive in the in the next few weeks ahead.
"I've got confidence that John Eustace can turn it around."
