Moose’s risky TNA iMPACT spot with Ricky Sosa leaves fans debating the execution

This week’s TNA iMPACT celebrated 35 years of The Hardys, who took charge of booking the show. One of the night’s biggest matches was a five-way ladder match featuring Elijah, Jason Hotch, Ricky Sosa, Trey Miguel, and Moose. The winner would earn a shot at Leon Slater’s TNA World Championship at Destination X.

However, one moment involving Moose and Sosa quickly became a major talking point.

During the match, Moose tried to powerbomb Sosa from the ring toward a ladder setup on the outside. The move did not go as planned, and Sosa took an awkward fall on the floor. He was supposed to hit the ladder and possibly break it. But Sosa narrowly avoided hitting the ladder and hit the floor directly.

Clips of the spot spread on X. Some fans criticized Moose’s execution, while others pointed out how Sosa landed badly on the floor.

Fans of Moose also expressed frustration with what they saw as a recurring issue.

Many fans reacted to how dangerous the landing looked.

Moose eventually addressed the incident on X. His response suggested that the spot was personal.

“I tried to killed @rickysosa508 cause when he stayed at my house he called me A fat a**. And he also calls me UNC as a nickname….. Wrestling is Real to me damn it. F*CK YOU RICKY,” Moose wrote.

Sosa also responded to the incident and gave fans a reassuring update about his condition.

“I’m fine!” he tweeted.
