Mandel Nallo made good on his second Octagon appearance earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 17, 2026) at UFC Edmonton LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as the Canadian favorite sliced through lightweight veteran Nate Landwehr like a lightsaber through air.
Nallo, who coughed up a TKO loss to Jai Herbert in his official UFC debut last April, was a sizeable betting favorite ahead of Saturday’s main card opener. That’s because Nallo is a powerful lightweight with proven finishing ability and Landwehr came into this weekend riding a three-fight losing streak (all knockout stoppages). It was more or less Nallo’s fight to lose.
As expected, Nallo was able to use his long frame and range control early on to pepper Landwehr with heavy leg kicks, snapping jabs, and counter right hooks. Landwehr is super tough and did his best to fight through the fire to find his own success, but it never really came. The damage piled up and Landwehr’s leg finally gave out in the second round, giving Nallo the chance to put the finishing touches on a huge sophomore performance.
