LIZ CARMOUCHE has taken drastic measures in order to make weight for her world title fight with Jena Bishop.
The MMA veteran fighter will take on her fellow American in Chicago during the main event at the PFL flyweight world title.
Carmouche, 42, was not prepared to miss out on the weight limit by anything.
Biship was just under the 125lb weight limit and Carmouche needed to have a quick haircut before stepping on the scales.
She was helped by her team, who were armed with a pair of electric clippers.
They took the clippers to her hair just moments before she stepped on the scales.
Video has been published of the hasty trim showing Carmouche in her fighting gear getting her head shaved on the viewing chairs.
She then showed off her new trim with a big smile as she stepped onto the scales.
Carmouche has previously admitted that the cut to make weight has been “crazy”.
She told Uncrowned: “My bone density keeps increasing, therefore my weight keeps increasing and I can keep reducing calories but that’s not going to change the build of my body.

“So 135lb makes the most sense, but the performance I have at 125lb makes it really hard to want to go up a weight class.”
The clash between Carmouche and Bishop is a rematch of their 2025 meeting.
Carmouche emerged victorious with a third-round knockout win.
The former Bellator flyweight champion boasts an impressive record since making her PFL debut in 2024.
She has won six and lost just once and another win over Bishop would be her 27th pro win since her 2010 MMA debut.
Despite being in her 40s, Carmouche is not planning on ending her fighting career any time soon.
She is hoping to take on injurd British star Dakota Ditcheva soon as a potential title defence.
Carmouche said: ” [March] gives her enough time to heal from her surgery.
“I think a welcome back fight makes no sense at all.”
