Turkish Super Lig Table After Galatasaray Won 4-3

Galatasaray claimed a thrilling 4-3 victory over Amedspor in an entertaining Turkish Super Lig encounter, surviving a determined second half comeback from the visitors to secure all three points.

According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, November 7, 2026, the hosts made a strong start and opened the scoring in the seventh minute through Rafael Leão, who calmly converted Lucas Torreira’s pass with a low finish.

Galatasaray maintained their attacking pressure, with Leão and Alexey Batrakov causing problems for the Amedspor defence. Goalkeeper Alban Lafont was forced into several interventions as the hosts searched for another goal.

Their persistence paid off shortly before half-time when Lafont inadvertently turned a dangerous cross into his own net, allowing Galatasaray to head into the break with a 2-0 advantage.

Amedspor attempted to respond after the restart, but their recovery hopes suffered another setback in the 59th minute. Batrakov’s effort took a deflection before finding the back of the net, extending Galatasaray’s lead to three goals.

However, the visitors refused to surrender. Dia Saba reduced the deficit in the 62nd minute with a floated free kick that goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir and the Galatasaray defence failed to deal with effectively.

Amedspor continued their comeback three minutes later when Gift Orban met Furkan Soyalp’s cross with a powerful header to make it 3-2, suddenly putting pressure on the home side.

Galatasaray restored their two-goal advantage in the 80th minute through Baris Yilmaz. The forward connected with Gabriel Sara’s excellent delivery and headed into the unguarded goal to make it 4-2.

Despite the setback, Amedspor continued fighting and found another goal in the 90th minute. Yira Sor reacted quickest to a rebound and converted to bring the score to 4-3.

The visitors pushed forward during the closing stages in search of an equaliser, but Galatasaray defended resolutely to preserve their narrow advantage until the final whistle.

Although the hosts allowed their opponents back into the contest after establishing a three-goal lead, they ultimately secured a dramatic victory in a seven-goal encounter.
