Arsenal and Barcelona Monitor Highly Rated Striker as Club Brugge Demand €50 Million

Arsenal and Barcelona are reportedly monitoring Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi ahead of a potential move during the summer transfer window, as competition for the highly rated forward continues to increase.

According to a report by BBC Sport on Monday, November 2, 2026, the 22 year old has attracted attention from several leading European clubs following his impressive performances for the Belgian side.

Arsenal and Barcelona are among the teams keeping a close eye on his development as they consider strengthening their attacking options. His performances and potential have made him an attractive target for clubs looking to invest in a young striker capable of developing into a top-level forward.

Borussia Dortmund are also interested in securing Tresoldi's services. The German club reportedly attempted to sign him during last summer's transfer window with an offer worth €36 million.

However, Club Brugge rejected the proposal because it did not meet their financial expectations. Dortmund's unsuccessful attempt has not discouraged other European clubs from monitoring the situation.

AC Milan are also believed to be interested in the striker, potentially setting up competition between several major clubs for his signature next summer.

Club Brugge have reportedly placed a valuation of at least €50 million on Tresoldi, meaning interested teams will need to submit a significantly improved offer to convince the Belgian club to consider selling.

The club's position reflects the high regard in which they hold the young forward. At just 22, Tresoldi is considered to have considerable room for improvement and the potential to establish himself among Europe's leading attacking players.

For Arsenal, the reported interest could be part of their efforts to maintain strong competition within the attacking department as they continue pursuing major domestic and European honours. Adding another talented forward would provide their manager with additional tactical options and greater depth in the final third.

Barcelona are similarly exploring opportunities to strengthen their attacking options as they work towards building a squad capable of competing for major trophies in Spain and Europe. Tresoldi's age, potential and development could make him an attractive long-term investment for the Catalan giants.

Nevertheless, securing his signature will not be straightforward, particularly given Club Brugge's reported €50 million valuation and their reluctance to accept offers below their expectations.

With Arsenal, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan all reportedly monitoring his situation, Tresoldi could become one of the interesting names to watch when the summer transfer window opens.
