According to a report by Madrid Universal on Saturday, November 7, 2026, Real Madrid have reportedly sent scouts to watch Leicester City midfielder Louis Page, who has attracted interest from several major European clubs, including Manchester United.
The Spanish giants are understood to have monitored the 18-year-old during his appearances for Leicester as they continue to assess promising young talents emerging from English football.
Page has emerged as one of the most highly sought-after young players in the transfer market, with Manchester United reportedly leading the race to secure his signature.
The Red Devils were believed to be close to signing the midfielder during the summer transfer window, but the proposed deal failed to materialise. Despite that setback, their interest remains strong, and they are still confident of completing a move for him.
Real Madrid's reported scouting activity could bring another major contender into the race, although it remains uncertain whether the Spanish club are prepared to make a formal offer for the youngster.
The La Liga giants have increasingly prioritised identifying talented young players who could become important members of their squad in the coming years. Their interest in Page comes amid reports that they are also close to securing a deal for Manchester United academy prospect JJ Gabriel.
Page came through Leicester City's youth academy and has made considerable progress since breaking into the club's senior team last season.
The England youth international has continued to impress this campaign, recording 15 senior appearances for the Foxes. He has contributed one goal and five assists, highlighting his ability to influence the team's attacking play from midfield.
His performances have attracted attention from several clubs, leaving Leicester facing the possibility of losing one of their promising academy products.
The Championship side are reportedly willing to consider a January transfer but have set conditions that potential suitors must meet.
Leicester are said to value the midfielder at £15 million, approximately €18 million. They also want any club that signs him to allow him to remain at the King Power Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
Such an arrangement would allow Leicester to retain his services for the remainder of the campaign while receiving a substantial transfer fee.
Manchester United are currently believed to be the leading contenders, having already made an attempt to bring him to Old Trafford during the previous transfer window.
However, the Premier League giants face competition from several domestic rivals, including Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Brentford have also reportedly made enquiries about the midfielder.
Interest in Page has also extended beyond England, with Borussia Dortmund of Germany keeping track of his situation. Barcelona have reportedly monitored him as well, potentially setting up competition with Real Madrid if the Spanish giants decide to pursue his signature.
The teenager has also represented England at Under-19 level, making six appearances for his country.
Despite the growing attention, Page's future remains undecided. Manchester United appear to be in the strongest position at present, although Leicester's asking price and loan requirement could play an important role in determining how negotiations progress in January.
For Real Madrid, sending scouts to watch the midfielder does not necessarily mean that an immediate transfer offer is being prepared. The club will still have to decide whether to turn their reported interest into a formal attempt to sign him.
