Zimbabwe’s Scottland are a step closer to reaching TotalEnergies CAF Champions League group stage after beating Angola’s Petro Atlético 2-0 in their Second Preliminary Round first-leg encounter on Sunday.

Zimbabwe internationals Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona found the back of the net in the second half to give the home side a victory in front of their fans at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.

Petro Atlético had to play with ten men after their goalkeeper Hugo Marques was dismissed in the second minute of the game.

The second leg is on this Friday in Luanda.
