LEEDS UNITED VS MANCHESTER UNITED

According to a report by BBC SPORT on Sunday October 18, 2026, Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United in their Premier League encounter after Dominic Calvert-Lewin cancelled out Bryan Mbeumo's opener at Elland Road.

United took the lead in the 35th minute when Youri Tielemans delivered a fine pass into the penalty area, allowing Mbeumo to finish into the bottom-left corner.

Leeds pushed for an equaliser before the break, but goalkeeper Senne Lammens produced important saves to preserve United's advantage.

The hosts eventually drew level six minutes into the second half. Calvert-Lewin collected the ball after a corner delivery and calmly fired into the bottom-right corner.

Both sides created further opportunities as the match progressed. Bruno Fernandes and Carlos Baleba attempted to restore United's lead, while Leeds threatened through Anton Stach and Lukas Nmecha.

Despite late pressure from both teams, neither could find a winning goal as the contest ended in a 1-1 draw.

BOURNEMOUTH VS SUNDERLAND

Bournemouth secured a comfortable 2-0 victory over Sunderland in their Premier League encounter on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with Evanilson and Marcus Tavernier getting on the scoresheet.

Bournemouth made a bright start and took the lead in the sixth minute. Evanilson delivered an excellent cross into the penalty area, allowing Tavernier to head the ball into an unguarded net.

Sunderland's task became more difficult in the 17th minute when Kevin Danso received a red card for a foul, leaving the visitors with ten men for the remainder of the contest.

Bournemouth continued to create opportunities before the interval but could not extend their advantage. Rayan and Evanilson both came close, while Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs made important saves to keep his side in the game.

The hosts doubled their lead just three minutes into the second half. Evanilson capitalised on a defensive error, collected possession and calmly finished to make it 2-0.

Bournemouth maintained their attacking pressure and created several more chances, but Roefs prevented further damage. Sunderland struggled to threaten as the hosts comfortably secured all three points.
