UCL Table After Liverpool Won 6-3

According to BBC Sport on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Liverpool controlled much of the contest and demonstrated their attacking strength through a series of well-worked goals. Ronald Araujo, Bradley Barcola, Jeremie Frimpong and Lewis Koumas were among the players who contributed to the victory.

Liverpool began the match with confidence, dominating possession and putting their opponents under sustained pressure. Florian Wirtz played an important role in creating chances, while Konstantinos Tsimikas repeatedly threatened from the left flank with dangerous deliveries.

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute when Tsimikas sent a corner into the penalty area. Araujo rose above the LASK defenders and directed a powerful header into the net to give Liverpool the advantage.

Just two minutes later, Liverpool doubled their lead. Koumas contributed to the attacking move before setting up Barcola, who calmly finished past goalkeeper Lukas Jungwirth to make it 2-0.

Barcola struck again in the 37th minute after receiving a precise through ball from Wirtz. The French forward found the bottom-right corner, completing his brace and giving Liverpool a comfortable three-goal advantage before the break.

The visitors continued their dominance after halftime, with Frimpong extending the lead in the 51st minute. The defender met another excellent cross from Tsimikas and headed the ball into the net to make it 4-0.

LASK eventually found a response through Robert Ljubicic, who converted a pass from Yvan Dibango in the 63rd minute. However, Liverpool quickly restored their four-goal cushion when Barcola completed his hat-trick three minutes later, benefiting from Frimpong's assist.

Koumas added Liverpool's sixth goal in the 72nd minute, finishing a lofted delivery from Frimpong with a controlled low shot.

Despite the significant deficit, LASK continued fighting and managed to make the scoreline more respectable. Florian Flecker scored twice in quick succession, finding the net in the 74th and 77th minutes to give the home side renewed hope.

His two goals increased the pressure on Liverpool during the closing stages, but the visitors remained composed enough to protect their advantage.

Liverpool ultimately secured a 6-3 victory, completing an entertaining Champions League performance that highlighted their attacking quality while exposing some defensive weaknesses during the second half.
