According to a report by Flashscore on Friday, October 30, 2026, Victor Osimhen and Yunus Akgun were the main contributors to the visitors' attacking performance, while several other players also delivered important performances.
Osimhen gave Galatasaray the advantage in the 12th minute with a powerful header. The Nigerian striker demonstrated excellent movement inside the penalty area and used his aerial ability to trouble Konyaspor's defenders. He remained a constant threat throughout the half, coming close to adding another goal with a long-range attempt in the 30th minute. He also had another opportunity during stoppage time but was unable to convert it.
Yunus Akgun doubled Galatasaray's lead in the 28th minute with an impressive strike from outside the penalty area. His effort was both powerful and accurate, leaving the opposition with little opportunity to prevent the goal. Apart from finding the back of the net, Akgun remained active in the attacking third, attempting to create chances and support his teammates.
Goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir also played an important role in maintaining Galatasaray's advantage. He showed confidence whenever Konyaspor threatened and produced a particularly important save in the 30th minute. Cakir comfortably dealt with Rajmund Toth's close-range header, preventing the home side from getting back into the contest. His positioning and composure helped keep the visitors' defence organised.
Roland Sallai was another standout performer, offering valuable support from the flank. In the 17th minute, he delivered a dangerous cross that forced Konyaspor goalkeeper Bahadir Gungordu into action. Sallai continued using the wide areas to create attacking opportunities and supplied another cross during stoppage time.
The contributions of these four players helped Galatasaray control the opening half and establish a significant advantage. With Osimhen leading the attack, Akgun providing creativity and goals, and Cakir and Sallai contributing defensively and offensively, the visitors had several reasons to be satisfied with their performance before the interval.
