Arsenal Face Strong Competition From PSG, Barcelona and Bayern Munich for Bournemouth Striker

According to a report by Football London on Monday, November 2, 2026, Arsenal are facing increased competition in their pursuit of Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, with Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich reportedly interested in the young attacker.

The 20-year-old has attracted attention from several top European clubs following his impressive progress, while Arsenal have previously considered bringing him to the Emirates Stadium.

However, securing his signature could become more difficult as PSG have reportedly renewed their interest after deciding against pursuing a deal during the summer transfer window.

The French champions are said to have reconsidered their position following an injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, which has raised concerns about their attacking options.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also monitoring Kroupi as they explore potential attacking additions for the future.

Arsenal had identified the Bournemouth youngster as a possible transfer target before an injury disrupted the situation and prevented interested clubs from making significant progress towards a deal.

With several European heavyweights now following his situation, competition for the forward's signature is expected to increase.

Despite the growing interest, Bournemouth are reportedly determined to keep Kroupi and have made it clear that they are not currently willing to sell him.

Their position could complicate Arsenal's plans, particularly if PSG decide to submit a lucrative offer to persuade the Premier League club to reconsider.

There are also suggestions that Arsenal may be unwilling to match the financial package PSG could potentially offer for the youngster.

The Gunners will therefore have to consider whether signing Kroupi is worth a major financial investment, especially with competition from several wealthy European clubs.

Nevertheless, Mikel Arteta's side are still expected to strengthen their attacking options during the January transfer window as they look to remain competitive in the Premier League and other competitions.

Kroupi could provide an exciting addition because of his potential, age and attacking qualities. However, Bournemouth's determination to retain him and the interest from PSG, Barcelona and Bayern Munich could make negotiations difficult.

For now, Arsenal will continue monitoring developments as they assess their options ahead of the January transfer window.
