Final UEFA Champions League Table After Arsenal Won, Liverpool Lost and Real Madrid Secured 3:2 Win

According to a report by BBC Sports on Thursday, November 5, 2026, the UEFA Champions League standings have witnessed significant changes following the conclusion of Wednesday's Matchday Four fixtures, with Arsenal strengthening their position, Liverpool dropping points after a painful defeat and Real Madrid continuing their impressive campaign.

Arsenal secured a 2-1 victory over Slavia Prague to move up to third position with 10 points from four matches. The Gunners have recorded three wins and one draw, maintaining their unbeaten record in the competition. Their latest victory has strengthened their hopes of securing automatic qualification for the round of 16.

Real Madrid also enjoyed an important night after defeating their opponents 3-2 to maintain their perfect record. The Spanish giants have collected 12 points from four matches and occupy second position on the standings, behind Paris Saint-Germain, who are also on 12 points but lead on goal difference.

Liverpool, however, suffered a major setback after losing 3-2 to Fenerbahçe. The English side dropped to eighth position with nine points from four matches, having previously enjoyed an excellent start to the competition. Despite the defeat, they remain among the teams currently occupying automatic qualification positions.

Como occupy fourth position with nine points, while Barcelona are fifth with the same number of points. Aston Villa sit sixth, followed by Manchester City in seventh position. Liverpool complete the top eight.

Club Brugge occupy ninth position with nine points, while Sporting CP are tenth, Real Betis are eleventh and Borussia Dortmund sit twelfth. Bayern Munich are thirteenth with eight points.

Manchester United, meanwhile, occupy seventeenth position with six points after their latest victory over Roma.

Under the new Champions League format, the eight highest-ranked teams at the end of the league phase will qualify directly for the round of 16, while clubs finishing between ninth and twenty-fourth position will compete in the knockout play-offs.

Arsenal will be pleased with their current position, while Liverpool must work hard to return to winning ways. Real Madrid, on the other hand, will be determined to maintain their perfect record as the competition progresses.
