Amin Chiakha’s performances for Rosenborg BK have begun to attract attention from several European clubs, with the Algeria international emerging as one of the more closely watched players on the transfer market after an impressive season in Norway.
The 19-year-old forward has kept his focus on his current objectives despite the growing interest. Rosenborg paid €5m to sign Chiakha permanently from FC Copenhagen, underlining the Norwegian club’s belief in his potential and long-term value.
His displays could now lead to opportunities in more prestigious European leagues. Asked by Norwegian newspaper Adresseavisen about the possibility of continuing his career elsewhere in Europe, Chiakha made clear that he has ambitions to progress.
However, his immediate future remains under his control. Chiakha is contracted to Rosenborg until 2030, giving the club a strong position should interest in the striker develop into formal approaches.
His estimated market value is €8m, according to Transfermarkt – €3m more than Rosenborg paid to secure his permanent transfer. For now, the Algeria forward appears to favour continuity while keeping open the possibility of taking the next step in his career.
Rosenborg’s next fixture will be against Sarpsborg 08 in the 24th round of the Norwegian championship.
