Milford Move Above Kaizer Chiefs into Fourth as Kruger Climb into 12th in Updated Betway Prem Log

The Betway Premiership log has seen notable shifts after the latest round of matches, with Milford climbing above Kaizer Chiefs into fourth place while Kruger United moved into the top half of the bottom half of the table.

According to the updated standings, Mamelodi Sundowns remain firmly at the top with 23 points from nine games. The Brazilians have recorded seven wins and two draws, conceding just eight goals while scoring 23. Orlando Pirates sit second on 22 points from eight matches, having won seven and drawn one. AmaZulu occupy third position with 19 points from eight games.

Milford’s rise to fourth is one of the standout developments. The side now has 15 points from nine matches after collecting four wins, three draws and two defeats. Their goal difference stands at plus three. This places them one point clear of Kaizer Chiefs, who drop to fifth on 14 points from eight games. Chiefs remain unbeaten with three wins and five draws, and they boast a stronger goal difference of plus five. However, having played one game fewer has not been enough to keep them above Milford on the log.

Further down, Sekhukhune United are sixth with 11 points, while Stellenbosch occupy seventh on 10 points. Golden Arrows and Chippa United share eighth and ninth places on eight points each. Polokwane City and Durban City both have seven points in tenth and eleventh.

Kruger United’s climb into 12th is the other key movement highlighted in the latest log. The side now sits on seven points from eight matches, with two wins, one draw and five losses. Their goal difference is minus eight. This improvement sees them move above TS Galaxy, who are 13th on six points.

At the bottom, Siwelele and Richards Bay both have three points, while Marumo Gallants remain in last place with just two points from seven games. With several sides still having games in hand, the middle and lower reaches of the log remain open as the season progresses. The latest update shows how quickly positions can change after a single round of fixtures.
