Ghana youth international Matthew Cudjoe was on target for Bnei Sakhnin on Saturday to register his first goal of the season to help his side secure a 2-0 victory over Hapoel Petah Tikva.

The 22-year-old rolled in a low shot from inside the box after defender Leeroy Owusu squared a pass from the right.

Cudjoe was making his seventh appearance in the Ligat ha'Al.

Sakhnin shot into the lead on the half hour mark when Ahmad Salman connected home.

The forward’s contribution provided a timely boost for Sakhnin, who secured all three points with a clean-sheet performance.
