Liverpool are interested in extending Rio Ngumoha’s contract, according to respected transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 18-year-old winger’s current deal with the Merseyside club runs until the end of June 2028. However, Liverpool’s management are keen to continue working with the highly rated player and could offer him a new agreement.

Ngumoha has made five appearances in the Premier League this season. The attacking midfielder has not recorded a goal or assist in those matches.

Transfermarkt values the Liverpool player at €50m.
