Brighton travel to Spain this evening hoping to continue their impressive form when they face Getafe in the Conference League.

Fabian Hurzeler’s side have enjoyed an excellent start to the season and head into the clash sitting third in the Premier League, just five points behind leaders Arsenal.

The Seagulls claimed an impressive 1-0 win away to Manchester City last weekend, with Yasin Ayari scoring the only goal at the Etihad Stadium.

Brighton have also made a solid start to their European campaign, thrashing Lithuanian side Kauno Zalgiris 4-0 before being held to a goalless draw by Jablonec.

Those results have left them ninth in the 36-team league phase standings, with four points from their opening two matches.

Getafe, meanwhile, have struggled in Europe so far, collecting just one point from their first two games.

Jose Bordalas’ side opened with a 1-1 draw against Universitatea Craiova before suffering a heavy 5-2 defeat to Lugano, leaving them 30th in the standings.
