The players are letting Carrick down once again. Absolute shameful - I hope we get relegated. That would teach them a lesson.

Joey, Kent

Martinez should never play for Manchester United again.

Ryan, Essex

Dressing room has absolutely gone, the players have absolutely passion to fight for Carrick, get them all out of the club! Absolute disgraceful players!

Ciaran, Mansfield

Five minutes left in the half and Chelsea have a corner.

It just hits Moises Caicedo and bounces off the base of the post. He knew absolutely nothing about it.

Bruno Fernandes finds Amad in space about 20 yards from goal and he decides to have a go, forcing Mike Penders into the save.

Manchester United must stay focused here.

They are playing well, they have had chances, they thought they were ahead but they are not.

They cannot take their foot off the gas and they cannot afford to get disheartened.

Why on earth does Mbeumo get to start ahead of Lacey? Performance should be the primary criteria for being in the team. Mbeumo is repeatedly just making up the numbers. Leave him on the bus.

Disappointing that Mainoo did not make it. Midfield will need a big step-up. Would have preferred Cunha instead of Mount. If we see 100% effort and the right attitude, it's possible. 100% support for Carrick no matter what.

Maxence Lacroix is at Stamford Bridge today, but in his usual street clothes as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

As first reported by BBC Sport yesterday, the France international, 26, could be out until 2027 as concerns grow over the severity of the injury he sustained at Liverpool on Wednesday night.

It is a blow for manager Xabi Alonso, who has started the £52m signing from Crystal Palace in all but one match in all competitions this season.

As a Utd fan, 3-0 Chelsea sadly.

Dodd, Yorkshire

As a Liverpool fan, I want United to win today to keep Carrick in post for when we play them in three weeks as I'm confident we could take three points. Last thing we need is the new manager bounce.
