According to a report by LiveScore on Saturday October 17, 2026, Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly been told they could need to pay more than £60 million to sign Brentford winger Kevin Schade, who has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.
According to reports, both clubs are monitoring the 24-year-old German international, while Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in securing his signature.
Schade has impressed since joining Brentford, initially on loan, in January 2023. He has recorded 25 goals and nine assists in 120 appearances across all competitions for the Bees.
The winger enjoyed a productive 2025-26 campaign, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in the Premier League as Brentford finished ninth in the table. He has also made an encouraging start to the current season, scoring three goals in six league appearances.
Despite having an estimated market value of around £42 million, Brentford could demand more than £60 million for the forward. The club are reportedly keen to extend his contract, which currently runs until the summer of 2028, potentially strengthening their negotiating position.
Schade’s performances have attracted attention from Arsenal and Liverpool as both clubs assess their attacking options. However, any potential deal could prove expensive, particularly if Brentford remain determined to keep the Germany international.
The winger is also reportedly dealing with a shoulder problem sustained during Brentford’s 2-2 draw against Aston Villa earlier this month. The injury has raised doubts over his availability for the meeting with Liverpool.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are preparing for a busy period that includes Premier League and Champions League fixtures. Mikel Arteta’s side recently secured a 3-0 victory over Lille in Europe, while Liverpool bounced back from their 3-0 league defeat to Manchester City by beating LASK 6-3 in the Champions League.
