According to a report by Barca Universal on Thursday November 5, 2026, Barcelona have confirmed that captain Raphinha has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until June 2030.
The agreement extends his previous deal, which was due to expire in 2028, following an impressive start to the 2026/27 campaign. The Brazilian forward has continued to play a leading role under Hansi Flick and has reaffirmed his desire to remain at Spotify Camp Nou.
The club announced the agreement in an official statement, confirming that the 29-year-old will stay until June 30, 2030. Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United in the summer of 2022 and has developed into an important figure within the team.
His early years in Catalonia included inconsistent spells under former manager Xavi Hernandez. However, his performances have improved significantly since Flick took charge. The winger has recorded 94 goals and 62 assists in 190 appearances for Barcelona.
Raphinha has been particularly influential this season. He was appointed the club’s first captain and has been deployed in a central attacking role. The change has brought an impressive return, with the forward scoring 19 goals and providing three assists in just 13 matches.
His performances have attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Despite those approaches, Raphinha has consistently expressed his intention to continue playing for Barcelona for as long as possible.
The new agreement provides further evidence of that commitment and gives the club greater security over one of its key attacking players. Barcelona will now be able to count on the Brazilian until 2030, extending his stay by two years beyond his previous contract.
The renewal is a significant development for Flick’s project as Barcelona look to maintain their strong start to the season. Raphinha’s leadership, goals and creativity are expected to remain important to the team in the coming campaigns.
