Perron (not injury related) won't participate in Saturday's game in Chicago, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.

Perron hasn't met up with the team in Chicago after signing a one-year, $850,000 contract Thursday. After Saturday's tilt, the Stars are heading back home, which is probably when Perron will start working with his new teammates. The 38-year-old might end up making his debut Tuesday versus Boston. If that's the case, then Perron will likely serve in a bottom-six capacity.
