Kaizer Chiefs could be preparing for another busy January transfer window, with former Bafana Bafana stars Percy Tau and Thembinkosi Lorch emerging as possible targets for the Soweto giants.

The two experienced attackers have been mentioned by former Chiefs goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, who believes they could help strengthen the team's squad as Amakhosi look to improve their performances in the second half of the season.

Chiefs have already added Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana to their squad on a free transfer. However, Baloyi believes the club should not stop there and should consider bringing in more experienced players.

Speaking to SoccerBeat last month, the former goalkeeper said there were several available players who could make a difference at Naturena.

Baloyi believes Percy Tau would be a good addition to the Chiefs squad. The 32-year-old former Al Ahly attacker has valuable experience from playing at the highest level and has won several major trophies during his career.

He believes Tau could offer more than just his football skills, as his experience and professional attitude could also help younger players in the dressing room.

The former Chiefs star also mentioned Thembinkosi Lorch as another player the club should consider signing.

Lorch's future in Libya has been uncertain, with reports suggesting that he could leave his current club in January. This could give Chiefs an opportunity to bring the former Orlando Pirates attacker back to South African football.

However, there is no confirmation that Amakhosi have made offers for either player.

With January approaching, Chiefs supporters will be watching closely to see whether the club follows Baloyi's advice.

For now, Tau and Lorch remain possible targets rather than confirmed signings.
