Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has voiced his belief that the club must safeguard their important asset, the brilliant winger Oswin Appollis, by meticulously controlling him.

When discussing the South African international, Ouaddou made it plain that Appollis is not a machine and that players like him also need time to recuperate and have their workloads managed correctly.

In order to safeguard their gem, Ouaddou emphasised that he was not a robot.

The coach's comments emphasise the significance of finding a balance between the physical demands of professional football and performance expectations, especially for players who have big roles to play on their teams.

Since joining Orlando Pirates, Appollis has garnered a lot of attention because to his offensive prowess, quickness, inventiveness, and capacity to cause problems for opposing defences.

Fans' hopes have been boosted by his performances, and many now consider him a key player who can help the team achieve its goals.

The technical staff of the Pirates is aware of the necessity to spare the winger needless physical strain, according to Ouaddou's remarks.

Playing in domestic league matches, cup events, and continental tournaments is only the beginning of the hectic schedule that professional football players face. Fatigue and injuries are more likely to occur in the absence of effective task management.

As Orlando Pirates go on with their goals, it will be crucial for a player like Appollis to be healthy and consistent because of his offensive abilities.

Appollis is a jewel in Ouaddou's eyes, and the necessity of nurturing his skill is highlighted by his comparison to the winger.

Even though Appollis is a key player for the Pirates, the coach has made it clear that getting him to play every minute is less vital than his long-term impact.

The winger's meticulous management has to keep him healthy, help him grow, and ensure that the Soweto giants get consistently outstanding performances from him. Pirates fans will surely be hoping for that.
