South African football sensation Relebohile Mofokeng is reportedly attracting growing attention from some of Europe's biggest football clubs, with French side Lille and German giants Bayer Leverkusen said to be monitoring his progress.
The latest developments have also brought attention to the international football agency managing the young Bafana Bafana star's career. Mofokeng is represented by THE·TEAM, a well-known agency whose client list includes several established players competing at the highest level of European football.
Reports indicate that the 22-year-old joined the agency in July 2026, following his involvement with the South African national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He subsequently completed a move from Orlando Pirates to Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise.
THE·TEAM boasts an impressive collection of football stars, including Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, Manchester City's John Stones, Liverpool's Curtis Jones and Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.
Other notable clients include Newcastle United's Harvey Barnes, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall, Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and Brighton defender Ferdi Kadioglu.
Meanwhile, Mofokeng's performances in Belgium have reportedly caught the attention of Lille and Bayer Leverkusen. Lille are believed to have identified him as a potential attacking option, while Leverkusen have reportedly made enquiries about his situation.
The South African youngster has reportedly registered five goals and four assists in 15 appearances for Union Saint-Gilloise.
With his contract running until 2030, the Belgian club is in a strong negotiating position. Although no transfer agreement has been confirmed, Mofokeng's growing reputation suggests that bigger opportunities could await him if he continues developing in Europe.
