Orlando Pirates' Next Five Betway Premiership Fixtures Revealed

Orlando Pirates face an important period in their Betway Premiership campaign, with their next five league fixtures set to test the team's consistency and ability to collect valuable points. The Buccaneers will begin this run with a highly anticipated Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs before travelling for four consecutive away matches.

With 15 points available from these five encounters, Pirates will have an opportunity to strengthen their position in the league standings. However, the demanding schedule means the team will need to remain focused and produce consistent performances against different opponents.

The first match will be against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Pirates will enjoy home advantage for the Soweto Derby, which is scheduled to kick off at 15:30 and will be broadcast on SuperSport PSL. The fixture is expected to attract considerable attention from supporters of both clubs, given the rivalry between the two Soweto giants.

Derby matches are often unpredictable, with form and league positions sometimes playing a limited role in determining the final result. Pirates will therefore need to approach the encounter with concentration and determination as they look to secure maximum points against their rivals.

Following the derby, the Buccaneers will travel to face Siwelele on Wednesday, November 4. The match is scheduled to begin at 19:30 and will mark the start of four consecutive away fixtures in the league.

Pirates will then face Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday, November 28, with kick-off set for 18:00. This will be followed by another away encounter against Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, December 5, at 15:30.

The team's fifth fixture in this period will be against Richards Bay FC on Wednesday, December 16. The match is scheduled to kick off at 15:30, bringing this particular run of league fixtures to an end.

Playing four consecutive away matches presents a challenge because Pirates will have to adapt to different venues while maintaining their competitive standards. Away fixtures can be difficult, particularly when opponents are determined to take advantage of playing in front of their home supporters.

The technical team will need to manage the squad carefully, ensuring that players remain fit and ready for each encounter. Effective finishing, defensive organisation and consistency could make a significant difference in how many points the Buccaneers collect.

For Pirates supporters, the upcoming fixtures provide plenty of reasons for excitement, especially with the Soweto Derby leading the schedule.

With 15 points available from their next five Betway Premiership matches, how many points do you think Orlando Pirates will collect? Will the Buccaneers manage to secure most of the available points, or will the demanding away schedule make their task more difficult?
