According to a report by FootballTransfers on Friday, October 30, 2026, Sarr believes Jackson should continue developing at Aston Villa before considering the next stage of his professional career.
The Senegalese striker joined Unai Emery's team from Chelsea in August for €55.5 million and has made an impressive impact since arriving at the club.
Jackson has registered seven goals in 11 appearances, quickly becoming an important figure in Villa's attacking setup alongside fellow summer recruits Johan Manzambi and Ibrahim Mbaye.
His impressive performances have also encouraged some supporters to believe he could offer more attacking quality than Ollie Watkins, who left the club for Al-Hilal during the summer transfer window.
Speaking to Africa Foot, Sarr discussed the reasons behind Jackson's improved performances, particularly the support he receives from his teammates.
"At Aston Villa, he seems to be with teammates who are constantly looking for him. That could explain his effectiveness," he said.
The former Senegal defender also advised the striker against rushing into another transfer, insisting that remaining at Villa would help him gain more experience and prepare for a bigger challenge.
"If tomorrow there's another transfer from Aston Villa to another top club, he'll be better prepared. He needs to spend two or three seasons at Aston Villa before another challenge."
Despite that advice, Jackson's strong start to the season could attract attention from several European sides, including Manchester United, who have previously shown interest in his abilities.
United are expected to strengthen their attacking department, particularly because Benjamin Sesko has experienced injury problems and Joshua Zirkzee has yet to establish himself as a dependable first-choice striker.
Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo are also viewed as players who are more comfortable operating in alternative attacking positions rather than leading the forward line regularly.
Jackson's ability to combine with teammates, create space and threaten opponents from different attacking positions makes him an attractive potential addition to Manchester United's squad.
FootballTransfers also reported that football analytics company SciSports believes the 25-year-old would immediately become United's best player if he completed a move to Old Trafford.
However, Aston Villa are unlikely to welcome the departure of a striker who has made such a positive impression since joining the club. His continued performances could nevertheless increase speculation about a possible future transfer, particularly if Manchester United decide to make him a priority target.
