The visitors showed determination to turn the game around after Burnley made a bright start, with the home side taking the lead in the 20th minute through Jamie Vardy, who finished off an assist from Jacob Bruun Larsen to give the hosts an early advantage.
Burnley looked to build on their lead, but Wolves continued to push forward in search of an equaliser, and their efforts paid off in the 40th minute when Fer Lopez found the back of the net following a pass from Sean Neave to bring the visitors level before the half-time break.
Both teams returned for the second half knowing that another goal could make the difference, as Burnley tried to regain control of the contest while Wolves remained determined to complete their comeback and take maximum points from the encounter.
The decisive moment arrived in the 72nd minute when Tawanda Chirewa scored for Wolves, with Mateus Mane providing the assist to put the visitors ahead for the first time in the match.
Burnley made changes in an attempt to find another goal, bringing on Dastan Satpaev and Armando Broja in the 61st minute, but the home side could not find a way past the Wolves defence before the final whistle.
